Suzanne is the Chair of Transparency International New Zealand. This is a New Zealand-wide organisation with a vision for our country to build on its trusted integrity systems in which government, politics, business, civil society and the daily lives of people are free of corruption.
She is a passionate advocate of opening up governance in society and is a member of the Expert Advisory Panel for New Zealand’s involvement in the international Open Government Partnership initiative.
She has been a company director for over 30 years, including as a director on the Reserve Bank, and has been a regular analyst and commentator on New Zealand's comparative economic position, including commentary on how greater income equality would greatly enhance its prosperity because its uniqueness with the world bestowing it with a reputation for integrity.
Suzanne is currently also on the Health Research Council, a Director of the Whanau Ora Commissioning Agency, Te Pou Matakana and an Independent Director of the Army Leadership Board.
